Abstract

A solvable two-dimensional product-type system of difference equations of interest is presented. Closed form formulas for its general solution are given.

Summary

Introduction

Concrete nonlinear difference equations and systems have become of some interest recently. It is of interest to find all the classes of practically solvable product-type systems of difference equations and present formulas for their solutions in terms of the initial values and parameters. We present a new class of product-type systems of difference equations which are solvable under some natural assumptions.
