Abstract
The analogue of the Edwards-Anderson model for isotropic vector spin glasses, but taking three-component quadrupoles instead of spins at each lattice site, is studied on the square lattice with extensive Monte Carlo calculations, using a nearest-neighbor symmetric gaussian interaction.
