Abstract
Abstract A two dimensional imaging method to study the energy and the angular distributions of photodesorbed species is described. Initial results for NO adsorbed on Pt(111) excited by 193 nm laser pulses are presented to illustrate the versatility of the technique. The results are compared with other studies and the desorption dynamics is briefly discussed with available data.
