Abstract

A two-dimensional hexagonally ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC) has been synthesized directly from the carbonization of silica / triblock / butanol copolymers using F127 as structure-directing agents and butanol as the carbon precursors. The synthesized product has been characterized by means of different techniques including transmission electron microscopy, N2 adsorption-desorption, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Electrochemical properties are tested by cyclic voltammetry, and the maximum specific capacitance is 170 F g-1 in 6.0 mol L-1KOH at the sweep rate of 1 mV s-1.
