Abstract

Most theoretical investigations of the stress state of shells with stress concentrators of various types, taking account of both physical and geometric nonlinearity, have focused on axisymmetric problems [4], with the exception of [1,2], where some numerical results for two-dimensional problems were obtained on the basis of the theory of flexible shells and deformational plasticity theory.
