Abstract

We study the realization of two-channel optical router in parametrically amplified four-wave mixing (PA-FWM) process in rubidium atomic system. Here, we report the first level routing action resulting from the PA-FWM process and the second level routing resulting from the optical nonreciprocity. We also find the channel equalization ratio and optical fidelity of this router can be controlled by the phase of dressing beams. The switching speed of this system is about 18 ns, which can potentially contribute to quantum routing.
