Abstract
Although endotracheal intubation is very useful for us, one of its severe complications is trachealstenosis whose treatment is very difficult in children.Two cases of tracheal stenosis in children following prolonged endotracheal intubation after cardiovascularsurgery were reported. Two patients had their granulation removed under laryngofissureand their lumens of larynx dilatated with mold for 3-4months and recurrence was not observed.The etiology, prevention and treatment of tracheal stenosis in children were briefly discussed.
