Abstract

We reported on two cases of nail retention cyst which followed long period of time after pedicle skin graft.We consider that the cause of such cysts is the presence of nail matrix retained from the initial surgery, exacerbated by the bulkiness and lack of sensitivity in the flapped tissue, allowing unimpeded growth of the nail tissue.
