Abstract

Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on two-body bound state and parametrization of half-off-shell T-matrix. The chapter presents a method of parametrizing the half shell function when the eigenchannel has a bound state. Baranger gave a method—BGMS—when there was no bound state. Sauer showed how field theoretic constraints could be incorporated. Haftel extended the method of BGMS to include a bound state also. Mathur et. al have shown how the constraint of range can be imposed in such a case. Other approaches in this direction are because of Amado and Picker. The present method is numerically simpler than that by Haftel and reduces to Amado's as a special case but has the same limitations as Picker's viz using the Low equation may not be possible. However, the bound state plays an active role from the very beginning.
