Abstract

During anaphylaxis cardiovascular symptoms occur in up to 45 percent of episodes but there are no recommendations in the guidelines on which patients should be evaluated in terms of cardiac injury in anaphylaxis. In this report, by presenting two adolescents diagnosed with anaphylaxis, we would like to emphasize the importance of cardiac involvement during anaphylaxis in pediatric patients. Electrocardiography and troponin I evaluation are easily accessible markers to show cardiac injury.
