Abstract
Abstract The emergence of detecting harmful gases is a major worldwide challenge due to concerns of selectivity, sensitivity, ease of operation and low cost. In this paper twisted Polyaniline nano belts (TPNB) was prepared using soft template in-situ polymerization route and TPNB@rGO was obtained by physical solution mixing. The morphology and structural analysis were investigated. The unique TPNB nanostructure forming a composite with rGO (TPNB@rGO) exhibiting a p-type heterojunction, witnesses enhanced NO2 sensing behaviour ultimate fast response 12 s and recovery time 14 s, high sensitivity, good reproducibility and unique TPNB nanostructure at room temperature (RT). The current study resulting in a novel hetero structure proves to be a superior RT flexible gas sensor.
