Abstract

The unicornuate uterus (Class II) is classified into four subtypes [1]. The non-communicating unicornuate uterus (Class IIb) occurs most frequently. Recently, anatomic variation within this subtype was reported. To our knowledge five case reports have described seven cases where the non-communicating rudimentary horn is attached to the unicornuate uterus by a fibrous band of tissue [2]. However, no previous case of multiple gestations or ovulation induction has been reported in this anatomical variant. The patient is a 29-year-old nulligravid woman with infertility for 5 years.
