Abstract

Twenty-six thousand physicians—paid subscribers to theAmerican Journal of Diseases of Children—numberless doctors and medical students who peruse theJournalin libraries—all of these and unidentified others—are indebted to a few hundred colleagues who contributed time and talent, selflessly and anonymously, to evaluating manuscripts submitted for possible publication in theJournal. To paraphrase Winston Churchill, "Never before in the history of medical documentation has so much been owed by so many to so few." Without such professional dedication, the established reputation of theJournalfor reliable reporting could never have been attained. On behalf of thousands of readers, I extend to these few thanks from their colleagues. The names of those who served are listed in the honor roll for 1971. A.A.W. Honor Roll Arturo J.
