Abstract

What an exciting, celebratory conference we just attended! Reflecting on the Society of Pediatric Nurses' (SPN) heritage and accomplishments, both recent and past, made me proud of how far we, as the organization for all pediatric nurses, have come in 25years. We have grown in number, but, more importantly, we have become recognized as an important organization in the world of pediatric nursing and regarded as a resource and advocate for promoting excellent nursing care for children and their families.
