Abstract

The article aims to present the use of tutoring in individualised work with music education students and show the benefits of this work style. Initially, the tutoring method and its philosophical and methodological assumptions were introduced. Then, the specificity of music education was discussed, along with the possibilities of using tutoring in working with students and their parents. Finally, the preventive function of this method and its use to build students' mental resilience in accordance with the concept of resilience were discussed. The methodical aspect of tutoring combined with the teacher's competencies creates an opportunity to create a unique master-student relationship, typical of music education.
