Abstract
Cet article s’interesse a la trajectoire contrariee de l’energie des vagues. S’inscrivant dans une demarche forecasting volontairement transdisciplinaire a la croisee des sciences sociales et des sciences de l’ingenieur, notre propos vise a questionner la situation presente (insight) de cette energie en replacant les enjeux a travers le prisme retrospectif (hindsight) et prospectif (foresight). Comment expliquer la difficulte du houlomoteur a se deployer industriellement alors que la recherche scientifique est foisonnante depuis le xixe siecle ?
