Abstract

With increasing awareness among business communities on need of going green and adopting more and better green practices, management has now started focusing upon environment management techniques. As businesses are expanding and companies are going global, there is more emphasis on adoption and incorporation of green business practices to capitalize on its advantages. If today business firms want to make green practices as core of business processes then its human resources has got significant role to play in its full-fledged implementation. Or we can say in today's scenario Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) has become a significant business strategy wherein human resource (HR) department play significant role in adoption and implementation of GHRM practices.
