Abstract

To report a case of Turner's syndrome associated with bilateral funnel-shaped retinal detachments. We examined a 2-month-old female infant with Turner's syndrome who was referred with a diagnosis of bilateral leukocoria. Clinical examination showed bilateral funnel-shaped retinal detachments resembling stage V retinopathy of prematurity. Bilateral retinal detachments should be added to the list of ocular findings in Turner's syndrome. Patients with Turner's syndrome need early ophthalmologic examinations not only to treat common strabismus abnormalities but also to diagnose and treat posterior segment abnormalities.
