Abstract

In this study, in the period Ahmet Davutoglu and Mevlut Cavusoglu Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Turkey were examined Turkey-Iran bilateral relations. The reflection of the zero problem and active diplomacy with the neighbors of Ahmet Davutoğlu period on the relations with Iran and different attitude of Iran in the Arab Spring were studied. Iran and Turkey's different policies on the situation in Syria during the Arab Spring process have affected the relations between the two countries. Factors affecting Turkey-Iran Bilateral relations have not only been crises in the region, but also non-regional actors. The United States' economic sanctions and its desire to maintain its presence in the Middle East region, Turkey being a member of NATO and the Russian Federation's active role again in the Middle East, has been the main factors affecting Turkish-Iranian relations. In the study, Turkish-Iranian relations had examined in terms of Davutoglu and Cavusoglu.
