Abstract
터키정부는 쿠르드 민족주의 운동과 오랜 기간 대립해왔다. 현 정부는 집권 초기부터 여러 쿠르드 민족주의 단체와 평화로운 관계를 맺고자 시도하였으나, 최근에는 서로 간 차이를 좁히려는 의욕을 보이지 않고 있다. 이 논문은 이러한 정책 변화의 원인을 연구하면서, 터키 집권당인 정의개발당(AKP)이 쿠르드 민족주의 운동에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 득표 전략을 구사하기 위하여 기존 정책에 변화를 주었다고 주장한다.
