Abstract

Oscillations of the temperature and the turbulent heat flux as a function of the nature of stratification of a gas in an Archimedean force field are analyzed. It is found that in the absence of heat flux there are no temperature oscillations, and therefore the indifferent stratification is adiabatic. Corresponding experimental data are presented.
