Abstract
A two-parameter dynamic model on the shelf zone of the sea based on the K-theory is considered. The equations of balance and kinetic turbulent energy dissipation are involved for closing the set of motion equations. It is assumed that the sea is steady, horizontally homogeneous, and indifferently stratified. This paper is notable for the simultaneous description of the effect produced by the atmosphere and bottom on the shelf zone vertical structure. Model computations of the integral characteristics and profiles of turbulent parameters are given.
