Abstract
The tunnel construction aims to improve the road grade and achieve high-speed, fast, and safe mobility. Tunnels are critical in the development of modern road transportation systems. In this paper, The Changping tunnel project in Hubei Guzhu Freeway is used as an example to help explore the NATM tunnel monitoring measurement applications for a better understanding of principles and features of NATM. How to choose the best method for construction is investigated while comparing with other construction methods including combined surface subsidence, vault sink, surrounding convergence field measurement work, understand the need for tunnel monitoring, purpose, meaning, content, methods, and field measurement data collection, collation and analysis. Through on-site monitoring measurement data analysis, forecasting, and information feedback, we can make the use of safe and stable function regression coefficients derived rock tunnel to guide the construction site.
