Abstract

Binary charge transfer cocrystals self-assembly for FET application are realized by cooperative electron donor−acceptor interactions. Cocrystal contained perylo[1,12-b,c,d]thiophene (PET) and TCNQ exhibited a hole mobility of 0.04 cm2V−1s−1, while cocrystal formed by PET and F4TCNQ give rise to an electron mobility of 0.05 cm2V−1s−1. Charge transfer properties of PET -based cocrystals were tuned by changing the acceptor from TCNQ to F4TCNQ.
