Abstract
We optimise the positioning of guiding filters in a fiber-optic transmission system with periodic dispersion compensation. It is shown that stabilization of pulse energy fluctuations and interaction reduction for adjacent pulses that propagate in the same channel may be achieved whenever the filters are placed at optimal points within the map.
