Abstract

Ternary doped polyaniline hybrid composites were synthesized by rapid mixing chemical oxidative polymerization method using FeCl3 oxidant-dopant along with different concentrations of CuSO4/MnSO4, a second transition metal dopant in combination with an organic acid p-TSA. The stochiometric proportion of dopants used in the synthesis plays a critical role in modifying PANI's physical and chemical properties. The contribution of ternary dopants in modifying PANI morphology from whisker like surface to flaky morphology and frequency dependent dielectric properties of the as prepared PANI composites were systematically analyzed.
