Abstract

A slightly lossy biperiodic multicoupled resonator model is used to analyze the sensitivity of the fields to tuning errors in a standing wave linac tank. Perturbations of the 1 2 π- mode are used to represent the field behavior of stabilized or near-stabilized linac structures. The effects of couplings to cells beyond the nearest neighbor and the effects of an error in the average coupling resonator frequency are shown. Tables of error effects are given.
