Abstract

The paper discusses the specific features of tuning and calibration of a Coriolis vibratory gyroscope (CVG) with a metal resonator for the angular rate sensor (ARS) mode. Since the output signal contains the Coriolis and quadrature components, the compensating signal in the feedback loop is formed on the basis of two-stage correction algorithm. The results of the CVG-ARS testing using an electronic unit with the two-stage correction functions are presented.
