Abstract

Aluminosilicate CaAl2SiO6 (CASO) polycrystals doped with chromium, manganese, and vanadium ions have been synthesized using the sol-gel method. The XRD diffractograms, absorption, excitation, and emission spectra, as well as the decay time profiles, were measured and analyzed. Racah parameters, chromatic coordinates, color purity, color rendering index (CRI), and correlated color temperature (CCT) were estimated for the selected samples. The influence of spectroscopic properties, depending on doped ions and excitation wavelength was analyzed.
