Abstract

We report optomechanically induced absorption (OMIA) using a narrowband squeezed field in an optomechanical cavity coupled to an external charged nanomechanical resonator through Coulomb interaction. Our OMIA might be applied to detect the Coulomb coupling strength by measuring the distance between two points with the absorption minima of the homodyne spectrum, which varies nearly linearly with the Coulomb force. Especially, the model under our consideration can simulate the quantum signal fighting the environment noise using a squeezed field.
