Abstract

The magnetic properties of Fe3O4/rGO/PANI nanocomposites were tunable by the introduction of rGO, and then the effect of magnetic properties on their microwave absorption performance was further investigated. The magnetic permeability and dielectric constant of the nanocomposite were easily adjusted by the content of rGO in favor of impedance matching within the frequency range. Therefore, the minimum reflection loss (RL) of −45.0 dB at 8.5 GHz and absorbing bandwidth of 12.2 GHz below −10 dB (ranging from 5.8 to 18 GHz) were obtained for the Fe3O4/rGO/PANI-paraffine composite, which were larger comparing to other microwave absorbing materials reported in previous works. These results are very important for design and preparation of new microwave absorbing materials applied in high frequency region.
