Abstract
Cr2+:CdSe single-crystal laser with four-mirror cavity design pumped by a pulse-periodic Tm3+:YAP laser has been developed. The average power of 420 mW at the pulse duration of 200 ns and the repetition rate of 2 kHz was achieved in a non-selective cavity. Continuous wavelength tuning in the range 2.42–3.05 µm was carried out using a golden diffraction grating as a selective mirror.
