Abstract
Let f be a nonconstant meromorphic function in the plane and Q| f| differential polynomial in f. In this paper, for where ψ≢0 and γQ n - 1, we prove a general result which shows that there is a bound for T(r,f) just in terms of N(r,f) and N(r,l/ψ). Our result is sharp for entire f.
