Abstract
Introduction: Tumors activate the host hemostatic system, which in turn supports tumor growth and dissemination. In this setting, tumor cell/endothelial cell interactions play a relevant role, particularly by regulating endothelial cell (EC) procoagulant (tissue factor, TF) and anticoagulant (tissue factor pathway inhibitor, TFPI) features.
