Abstract
Angular distributions and absolute differential cross-section measurements of protons from the Al 27(He 3, p) Si 29 reaction have been determined for the first seven states of Si 29. A double stripping mechanism has been compared to the angular distributions of the 3.62, 3.07, 2.03 MeV and ground state levels. The theoretical curves in which the Coulomb field of the initial nucleus is considered are in fair agreement with the experimental results.
