Abstract

Summary A case a tuberculous cavitation in a tenmonth old infant is described. Death occured following a large haemoptysis. A brief review of the literature pertaining to tuberculous cavitation in infancy is given, and the mode of infection is discussed. I wish to thank Dr J.A.H. Brown for the post-mortem report, Dr K.H.
