Abstract

Tubal microsurgery is a valuable tool to study tubal reproductive physiology and various infertility problems. Microsurgical tubal resection reanastomoses of the rabbit fallopian tube and their impact on fertility are reviewed. Data obtained from experimental work on the function of cilia and muscle activity in tubal transport are discussed.
