Abstract
In 20-30% of patients, capsule endoscopy (CE) often fails to reach the cecum within an 8hr battery life. Attempts to improve the completion rate (CR) defined as reaching the cecum have, up to now been unsuccessful. Hitherto, we have reported on the relationship between bed rest level of patients and CR. The CR was significantly lower with poor bed rest level. Now, we report on the relationship between CR and patients' physical activity level as determined by using a pedometer.
