Abstract
Bleeding after colonoscopic resection of pedunculated polyp occurs infrequently but is unpredictable. Anecdotally, polypectomy is recommended in the middle of the stalk, but it is not clear what level of the stalk is best for preventing hemorrhage. To address this issue, we conducted a morphometric study on blood supply to the stalk of pedunculated colon polyps.
