Abstract

In the US, the mean size of benign colorectal lesions referred for surgery is 2 cm. Favorable outcomes of endoscopic resection for the removal of benign colorectal neoplasms have been shown. Endoscopic outcomes from the US, however, have been limited, particularly on large lesions. We aimed to assess the safety and efficacy of the endoscopic resection of giant (≥4 cm) colorectal lesions.
