Abstract

The scientific world is well aware of Prof. Tsung-Dao Lee’s contribution to the Beijing Electron–Positron Collider (BEPC). At this time, between his ninetieth birthday and the sixtieth anniversary of the discovery of parity violation, as one of those involved in building the BEPC, I would like to recall some of the history around the construction of the BEPC, to discuss T. D. Lee’s key role in the process and show his passion for science in China.
