Abstract

A couple of weeks ago, I was talking to a friend of mine about learning. He is a brilliant undergraduate student who has strong convictions about the education system. According to his views, the traditional way to teach based on groups guided by a teacher is just a “big waste of time.” He was arguing that small meetings and individual effort based on prerecorded videos could be much more rewarding and effective. I could not agree with him, as he dismissed the unmeasurable value of socialization. Nevertheless, he made a good point that his generation has more means to learn all sorts of subjects on a very individualized level.
