Abstract

The purpose of this study is to estimate two different inflation models which can be chosen for inflation targeting process: constant coefficient model and time-varying Markov switching variance model. Our results show that time-varying Markov switching variance model performs better than constant coefficient model according to the calculated Theil Inequality Coefficient.
