Abstract
This study has been carried out to make a contribution to viola education in the eightterm period in Music Teaching Programme of Fine Arts Department in Education Facultly. For this purpose, 70 folk songs were selected from TRT Music Department Publication Turkish Folk Music repertoire regardless of region. Findings were prepared in line with the suggestions of artists, and educators specializing in the subject. They were modified individually for viola playing technique for eight-term viola education.
