Abstract

Cross-sections of tritium production in proton-induced reactions for a great number of stable and nonstable nuclei at energies up to 1 GeV have been calculated. Semi-empirical formulae for calculating tritium production cross-sections in neutron and proton reactions on stable and nonstable nuclei with atomic number Z = 6−83 at energies starting from the reaction threshold (10–25 MeV) and up to 25 GeV have been obtained. These formulae can be used for estimating 3He and 3He production cross-sections in reactions with nucleons at intermediate and high energies.
