Abstract

The recent observation that griseofulvin is a fungistatic agent has stimulated much interest in the biological properties of this substance. A radioactive form of griseofulvin would be of great aid in studying these properties. The present report concerns our experiences with griseofulvin which had been exposed to tritium in an attempt to produce tritium-labeled griseofulvin by exchange of hydrogen for tritium atoms.
