Abstract

Two new 18,19-secoursane triterpenes and three triterpene glucosides, together with twelve known compounds, were isolated from the aerial parts of Rubus lambertianus Ser. The structures of the new compounds were determined by spectroscopic analyses (HR-ESI-MS, 1D/2D NMR). The protective effects of compounds 1–17 on high glucose-induced oxidative stress injury in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were evaluated using cell viability assay. Compounds 1, 2, 7, 10, 12, 15 and 17 significantly attenuated high glucose-induced oxidative damage on HUVECs at the concentration of 3.10μM.
