Abstract

Trisetacuscampnodus, an eriophyoid mite, is associated with a chlorosis and twisting of Pinuscontorta foliage. Observations of seedlings indicate that the mite may spread at any time of the year. Damage assessment in coastal British Columbia revealed that interior provenances are more seriously affected than coastal provenances. The natural range of T. campnodus is coastal; however, if introduced, it may become established in interior areas.
