Abstract

Anticrossing of energy levels may result in a broadening of ESR lines and thus can make the ESR impossible to observe. This effect is discussed for X- and Q-band absorption of triplet excitons in pairs of phenazine, naphthalene and anthracene embedded in the deuterated host.
