Abstract
A treatise on trigeminal neuralgia is presented, placing special emphasis on the history, etiology, symptoms, and present-day concepts of therapy. A most unusual case of bilateral trigeminal neuralgia of the infraorbital nerves which has been successfully treated by three different modes of therapy is also reported.
